What Are Plug And Play Lights?
Plug and Play lights, also known as Plug and Go Lights, are designed to be easily installed outside without the need for an electrician or many tools. They are used to simply add waterproof lighting to outdoor space and gardens to illuminate ornaments, plants, pathways, decking and entrances.
Plug and play lights are typically fitted directly into a transformer or driver which is attached to a standard plug. Many plug and play lighting sets can use an extension cable to further increase the reach of the cabling.
Elstead Garden Zone Collect and Connect
Elstead Lighting’s range of Garden Zone lights are easy to install and look great nestled around pathways and garden borders. Using a plug & go system dozens of low energy LED lights can be connected using up to 80 metres of cable. Plug & Go lights use a simple single pin to connect to the cable set.
To set up a Garden Zone Collect and Connect system, you’ll need a minimum of a set of light fittings and the transformer. The transformer is wired for universal use with a 2 pin Schuko plug as standard, but can be used in conjunction with a UK to Euro adaptor (not included). If you want to bury your transformer in the ground, it is recommended to house it in a watertight container.
Plug and Play Spike Lights
Our plug and play spike lights are made from high-quality anodised aluminium, meaning they have an anti-corrosion guarantee for up to two years. All of our lights also use bright and efficient LEDs.
IP Rated & Safe To Install
All of our Plug and Go lights are designated with a minimum IP rating of 44, which means it is able to withstand water splashes and larger solid objects. This means our range of garden lighting systems are safe to install outside, even in the unpredictable British weather!
