To help you make the perfect choice for your outdoor or garden lighting, we have put together this helpful list of Frequently Asked Questions.
Q. Where is my order?
A. Once your order is placed with Outdoor & Garden Lighting Centre will we send you an email confirming your order. Within the next 24 hours, you will receive another email detailing an estimated dispatch timescale when you would expect to receive your goods.
Once we dispatch your order, we will then send another e-mail confirming your order is on its way and will be delivered via a courier company on a next working day service.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, we may have to send some items separatly and these may occasionally be delivered by different couriers. Our couriers deliver between 7am - 7pm.
We recommend booking your electirician after you have received & checked your order.
Q. What if I don't like my lights?
A. Yes of course. If you’ve changed your mind, please return within 90 days from delivery in its original condition & packaging. You can return an order to us or we can arrange a return via Evri for you for FREE! (UK only). We’ll exchange or refund your order, as long as it meets our terms & conditions explained below.
By original condition, we mean:
- You’ve kept all original packaging in excellent condition and the product can be resold at full price.
- You haven’t used the product or installed it.
Q. What bulbs do I need.
A. This will depend on the fitting, please look in the technical information for details.
Q. Are my lights waterproof?
A. All our lights carry an IP rating, please read our guide to ratings here
Q. Do my lights have a motion sensor?
A. Please see the technical information section of each fitting for the answer.
Q. What voltage are the lights?
A. Most of our lights are standard 240 V. We do have a selection of plug and go 12V garden lights here
Q. Can I fit the lights myself?
A. Your lights will need to be fitted by a qualified electrician. We recommend installation by an electrician registered with the NICEIC, you can find a contractor here
Q. Do you sell Solar Outdoor Lights
A. No, not yet, we will be expanding the website as we bring more suppliers on and will have them in the future.
